Oh How I Wish

RebaDreamy

Oh how i wish i could be the young and innocent child again Years have past and memories have faded U am no longer the child they remembered Nor am I the young adult they expected. They still see me as the little girl with bows in her hair wearing the dress to match the bows But now I am the teenager who is kissing her boyfriend Young and free as the wind They needed to see me and him to fully understand I hurt too much to be the child they once knew But I love the person I have become from being hurt too much The person who I am now is careless and reckless All from being shielded as a child. I'm sorry they had to see me grow up so fast and fall in love But it was meant to be I am no longer the innocent child with her hair in bows But I am a young woman who has fallen hopelessly in love i am careless and free.
