I Can Still Feel

Your image is always before me I never see it clearly I see flashes and glimpses of what I think is love but their mirrored images hiding in the dust I can see you standing before me hidden in the shade never seeing never being I can never see your face I can feel the warmth you send me I can feel your love radiate I can feel it surround me but it doesn't drive the darkness away is it because your not near me is it because your not real is it because I'm thinking to much is it because I'm afraid to feel I keep walking but I never get that close I keep reaching but there's nothing there to hold I can smell your skin and almost see your smile there's a voice I hear calling it's a miles away or is that just the way it sounds I wish you were before me not just in my dreams always seeing always being wishing I could see your face I can feel the warmth you send me I can feel your love radiate I can feel it surround me but it doesn't drive the darkness away is it because your not near me is it because your not real is it because I'm thinking to much is it because I'm afraid to feel I long to meet the women who comes to me in my dreams the one who comforts me the one who holds me the one who lets me know that love is still real the one that lets me know that yes, I can still feel.
