Sam M's "Think" is a raw, direct poem about being abandoned by a group of people who once mattered. The speaker says they left physically, but the others "left emotionally," pulling away until they stopped trying. That leaves the speaker doubting whether the relationship was ever real, and whether they meant anything at all. The line "I guess I don't / If i do" is especially telling: the speaker hesitates, caught between anger and hope.
The feelings are messy. There is disgust at first, then exhaustion ("I'm ready to give up"), then crying, screaming and throwing things. Underneath that, the deeper pain is about identity: "Who I am / Who I used to be." Being rejected makes the speaker question themselves.
The ending shifts the mood. The speaker decides not to think about these people and to focus only on those who care. It reads less like peace and more like a hard-won choice to protect themselves, with the hurt still very close to the surface.
