Drowning

Sam MRomantic

Do you ever notice yourself Slowly drowning in life The stress The depression The anxiety it all just taking it's toll And then all of a sudden it changes All of a sudden you can't hold yourself up anymore You watch as the world around you moves You watch everyone move on but you just can't And you don't understand what's wrong with you Because you should be happy You have no reason to be sad Sitting there slowly breaking on the inside Wanting to scream for help so bad But not knowing how it could be fixed So you sit there Day and night Making the ones around you happy Then you meet someone A single person All of a sudden you feel who you were coming back You start smiling more And then comes the laugh Eventually you actually start to like yourself You don't need to change yourself Not for him Realizing that's what a real relationship is They accept you for who you really are And he does You're so similar All of your friends told you that was a bad thing But you need someone who's like you When they can be a smart ass and you can be one back Sitting there joking around about absolutely nothing But also everything at the same time So what if you can't describe your relationship He makes you truly happy Who's the one that's always there for you Who's the one who makes you better just with a text It's him And maybe just maybe I've found something better to drown in Him.
