Dark Horse

You never understood me It was like we were on two different sides of the spectrum You tried to help But you couldn't So I turned to him Sure he hurt me over and over But I always forgave him He was always there for me He didn't mean to hurt me He understood my moods My disorder My family My situation If I would have told you It would have been pity I hate pity Sure he hurt me But you leaving killed me I kept my surgery a secret from you My therapy My new disorder That's why I was so "secretive" I didn't want to worry you So making sure you weren't worried Cost me our friendship Because I put you ahead of me You left Does that seem fair But life is never fair So thank you For making sure I never trust anybody completely Ever again The pain isn't worth it Nothing is
