Spring Dreams

There is somewhere Out in this world Where peace simply Exists And where Your self-concept Is clear as day And happy as ever There is a place Where the flat fields Never curve Where all you can see Is a tree Standing right in the middle Of paradise During the spring time I tend to see Birds sitting in the trees Singing along to their mates When I see a bird You automatically think 'Oh, how lovely' Everyone says Your dreams will come true But dreams coming true Is the most you Have to worry about Because remember- Nightmares are dreams too. As I walk closer to the grand tree The birds slowly start to Fly away And the leaves turn brown And slowly Leisurely Fall off of The tree I came to known And once I reach the tree The grass is dead The birds aren't there The sky is a dark grey The paradise is now Quite silent And the bird chirps That used to be present Are not there And as I come in distance To touching the tree You can see dents in the bark It has huge lines across Marking the beauty of the Once lively tree The bark peels off Showing me the truth underneath And slowly I learn That this Is my life.
