Memory

What should I do with you? You are great you are strong But yet you carry on like a child I tried and tried to help But you are stubborn I lifted you up but you pushed me down I even tried carrying you The thought of letting you go busted in my brain I feel the discomfort of sadness and pain You do not try You are so much more than what you make yourself out to be If only I knew what was going through your brilliant head Feeling the need to help you grows in me I was once told that it’s better to try and fail then to never try at all So why do you not? You are a beautiful burden but too much for me Memory I’m letting you go
