Possibly Inevitable

There is not a single square I haven’t stood on,

Not a single piece I haven’t touched.

A move is made

A consequence obtained

And then we backup and replay it differently

For different consequences

Or until we’re sated.

We’re all gods around a chessboard.

They say if there is even a small possibility No matter how lonely and remote That it must happen inevitably Somewhere in eternity.
