Walking

Dave BontaCheerful

I walk with my watch in my hand to see the distances with minutes

to run is to save nothing wind blowing into the forest a few pigeons

walking I find my body where it is all stomach and no sense of the word fat

Erasure poem derived from The Diary of Samuel Pepys, Wednesday 13 September 1665.
