Stargaze

Never having believed in happiness, it occurs to me, might have had something to do with why i never actively pursued it. If it showed up regardless, well and good, but in general, day-to-day contentment seemed enough. And you know, maybe it is. For far too many around the world, it’s an unattainable dream. But what about love, Dave? And you call yourself a poet! Pleiades syncopating crickets

The end of the world

We have both moved on for the best I am happy You are happy We are happy Not together, but the love for each other is loud enough like a scream on a early morning Your voice telling me "you have someone better now". You're right I do have someone better You tell me "you cry as if it's the end of the world" No, I cried like that because I was with you Now I haven't cried once because of the person I have now I have not cried because of the people who surround me now You talk about someone new and it pains me in my chest, Not because I wish I could be her Because I wish happiness for you I then realize I have found happiness in my self and others

i know i can be alone. i can survive the pain alone. i can feel the happiness alone. having you around is comforting. it's nice to not be by myself. but don't overstep your place. because i know i can be alone. fear

Sun Shines Brightly

The evening was full of surprises. Sunshine had a brighter, merrier tinge Streets were full of decent men And every woman looked beautiful. Signals turned green at my very sight Youngsters gave way, most obliging. The fishmonger gave a couple free The coffee tasted so good. At the corner shop, I read out A letter in English To the unlettered worker Who listened joyfully, as I told him His daughter will be home for X’mas. Passing, slowly, I saw me In the glass panes - A happy, smiling, me.

happy ending

I wonder why in the movies they always seem to get the happy ending, and I wonder, standing on the bridge, why I had mine..

Just because..... I smile

Just because I smile Dont think Im okay Dont believe I am acutally happy Dont try to make me more "Happy" than I already am. Just because i smile It douse not mean I'm really happy It douse not mean I'm myslef It douse not mean life is perfect. Just because I smile Still ask if Im okay I cannot wait until life gets better Just because I smile----- Please try to help me get through this stage.

Untitled Part 31

I forgot the feeling of happiness. I forgot what joy feels like. I forgot the image of true smiles I forgot how to be me.

Bouqets.

an attractively arranged bunch of flowers. Don't get me wrong, i wanna be your bouquet. So that i can be a symbol of happiness and satisfaction And provide nothing but lasting joy. But it's sucks cause that will only be temporary. As i, as strong and vibrant as i may seem, cannot grow and blossom with you, without my roots.

Her name is Happiness

You never know from where a breeze would waltz in And when. In the sultry heat, When trees bend their heads, looking so forlorn And leaves curl (There is such sorrow in watching them) When street dogs scramble beneath shade And lie panting When clothes in the clothesline hang limp Like mourners of the dead - I - In the centre of the crossroads That extends to barren emptiness all around… I hear the flutter of fallen leaves at my feet And turn to look – The breeze comes up, smoking.

wrong

I didn't want to get over you But I needed to You were like a poison to my happiness Everytime you lied, everytime you walked away I used to think that if its you, then it's no fucking person But indeed I was wrong, it wasnt you but it was me I had to be myself I had to stop trying to get something I know I won't achieve I had to stop crying So I did
