Bottom Line

Trembling I feel this is going wrong, In whispers, your voice calls me But I don't want to hear it. Will it ever leave my mind? I thought we were on the same page Feeling like we're different now Different places, different stages. People keep on how a perfect match we are But truthfully I am not sure anymore Maybe I'll change my mind, or maybe I won't The bottom line seems blurry enough to act on blurry vision One day it may be clear to keep moving forward.

I'm done

I see you've been home But again now you're gone You said you'd let me know In case I'd want to see you But like every single time I just believe your lies. You tell me you want me But it's just a game to you Cause I'm tired of waiting for you I'm done being ridiculed I'm done waiting in the rain I just want to see your eyes Looking into mine, once more But I'm done waiting for someone like you.

Cold

I don't know If I'll ever let you go You touched me And suddenly I'm yours But you're so cold Feels like winter has come.

Lost Things

Everything we once had Gone to waste by a single night We both messed up We made our bed Now we lay in it. All the things that we lost All the roads that we crossed Feel like hell since you've been gone. What can I say? I never would've guessed it.

* * *

Fingers intertwined Eyes locked in mine A beautiful warming smile Only I could bring that out. We were playing on the couch like kids But we were both twenty-one. How could I ever forget The sound of your voice The color of your eyes? That gets me every time. All those times we could've kissed But for some reason we never did. With your hand up on my neck You didn't even press. Just with one-touch You could really light me up

Try too Much

I took the last train home Mainly because it reminded me of Countless sleepless nights Watching the sunset From your couch. Now I don't know Why I still call your phone. Everytime I try You decline It's just so stupid To think you'd ever be mine.

Dream

I can only dream of how you taste How your hands feel on my body But we're too far apart Let the distance between us win What more can I do To see you again? We won't talk for days But everytime I break I need to know how you are And tell you how I've been Lately it's been strange, You seem so distant and distracted While I'm still here feeling attracted.

Picnic under the night sky

Dark beach, brown eyes Champagne and a bottle of wine Fresh air, hold my hand Let's just lay under stars Can we stay here forever? Where no one ever Bothers me anymore Baby, there's nothing better And no one ever Made me feel this way. I know I can talk to you You understand me And that's what friends are for. You can talk to me too I know you need it, That's what matters the most.

Foolish

I try to fight the smile Whenever you text me back, This secret obsession is eating me alive Why can't I tell you how I feel? There's something deep inside of me Preventing me from making a fool of myself.

True Love

Do you remember when we were trying to sleep? Trying to get rid of my insecurities, I held your hand like no one else And tried not to lose myself I'd always be there when you needed me I knew you'd be there too.

I Was Wrong

I thought I was making a fool of myself Getting dressed so we could leave As soon as you came, But you never did. I thought you forgot about me I really thought you did I guess I was wrong.

Unanswered Questions

If I love you, can I trust you? If I see you, are you with me? If I hear you, are you talking? If I'm with you, would you leave me? If I tried to help you, would you let me? Feels so different, Feels so distant. I try to be there But I get pushed away.
