Pointless

i screamed at the stars and cried in the rain, breaking my nails as i tried to claw the broken thing out of my chest. but it didn't do any good. it never will because the broken isn't in me.

Stars

I look out my window to see the stars shining bright The constant twinkling in the sky my very own lullaby So I close my eyes but can not sleep for the stars would haunt my dreams Now I glance out my window pane and hope they'll come to me Because stars are the only friends I have that will never leave And I can depend on them to brighten up the dark I can also tell them secrets hidden deep within my heart Star's the only thing I know that will never stray Star's how I want them to be here with me in day Star's I love how they can never bring me pain So I wish upon a star to come take me away To take me from this wicked world and all its wicked ways The stars could come and take me

Useless Hope

This night is so dark With shining stars How my heart is dark With small hopes They say stars are dead My hopes too Even though they shine bright Like mine do I knew they were useless But i mind I never let them go Because I can't Never get them off away Oh My heart Stupid heart! Let them go Let's never hope .

The star of mine

You were like a star to me. You have always been for me. Either if it's day or night You cared, loved, protected; Like a brother, friend More than a friend; Yeah, best friend. Everytime when i look at the stars That reminds me of you They say dead souls become stars. Are you a star ? Do you still check on me? I missed you when you were gone I still do. So, my dear best friend; You are the brightest star i knew

A Freak of Nature

A freak of nature lies on a bed of soft snow The air is still The world is quiet The sky is clear The stars look down upon this freak of nature A million eyes gaze kindly on this twisted form There is no judgment in this night It is beautiful In the morning There will be no trace left No one will know this freak of nature was here at all But for now it rests sweetly and all is right

From nowhere to eternity

Life is a continuum Extending from a nanosecond to trillions of millenniums from a bacterium to bacteria from a star to a black hole... In between, you and me, my dear we weave our lives from eon to eon how naive to think our love is eternal! how ephemeral are our lives, our loves when just beyond our fingertips the void waits to take us back- you, cosmic dust!

On Seeing a Dead Snake

Snakes don't close their eyelids 'Coz snakes can't close their eyelids. Fused, the eyelids keep the eyes open From birth to postmortem. Perhaps, as the rest of the body rots away, The eyeballs would lie there forever, Twinkling like forlorn stars. Scared of the vacant look of death,we Scramble to pull down our dead's eyelids. Perhaps, if we didn't, they would light up stars In somebody else's eyes...

There! I have lit a star Beside your name! I scroll down my Inbox Where stars twinkle next to you Every time, every time you wrote to me! Every little message, every little word You wrote Is a thought – of me! In this dark and silent night I read you, over and over And you light up, once again My room, my lonely heart! I wish I could make a garland Of all the stars one day. I will keep it ready For the day you’ll come –

A Speck

I walk down the street, See what I know, The world in front of me, Feeling well and tall, A squirrel climbs a tree, A child runs around, Mosquitoes, flies, bees, Some ants on the ground, I stop and stand back, Garnering a better perspective, Of the world I know, Feeling confident and important, I then gaze about the stars, Unable to comprehend the distance, Unable to understand the size, Feeling small in the process,

stars

Stars litter the sky. Different sizes, shapes and temperatures, Though all of them are burning balls of fire, they are so loved. I feel as though stars are the flowers of the sky. everywhere, different, beautiful, and praised. except burning at anywhere from 3,000 K- 30,000 K degrees. and they are adored. searched for. bought. sold. And viewed in the best light. Seen as kisses of heaven. i want to be seen, as beautifully as the stars. i want to be admired, yearned for,

Pulled Away

i was pulled away from you left as a ghost desperately grasping onto what was left of my existence the earth slowly floated away but I shall stay holding you for neither life nor death could ever make me forget the nights spent kissing stars watching as you quickly forget no longer saving my memory I fade away because I was only you with you I am nothingness I do not exist but I am still here for as long as I have you I will never go away I could never leave you
