Sleep.

As the world is engulfed in darkness as the moon comes out to play as the sun's fire fades as the stars illuminate the world as the predators awaken as the prey falls asleep as I gaze outside as the fragile Earth disappears.

Light

Kiss away my tears, trace the patterns of my sorrow with your lips light remains light no matter what the colour is mix with my nature and bring a new definition to life help me to not look to the future but live it make perfection not a sin but a goal i will follow you, you will be my main direction you are the wolf; i am the moon. there will never be a dawn that breaks the spell surrounding us.

My Grandfather

Grandfather, Grandfather Where are you? Come to me Tell stories to me, Where are you lost? Come to me Return to me, Come, come to me. I don't want To be star forever, Come, come to me. Grandfather, Grandfather Are you that blue star or that red one? Where are you lost again? Come, return to me. Where are you gone?

Dreamer

And I'll continue dreaming on looking at the city lights burning bright even when the night sky is filled with no stars.

orbit

the stars rotate around my axis, twinkling little giants trembling in the wake of my immense gravity, my selfish hands pull and reach for these orbs of light, wanting them all just for myself, core of cold ice engulfing and destroying and reducing love and life to empty nothingness as i consume and consume and consume but the sun still exclaims their radiant glory, the galaxies still quiver in their tremendous vitality of stardust and beauty and their confidence, the universe still spins and grows and breeds all these fragments of infinite infinity - remind me of my colossal insignificance oh dark star, for with the billions of star-showers

Little Star

My little star sleeps next to me, tiny nightmares light my way. Why she’s here it’s hard to say, please leave tomorrow, not today. She sees me, not as I am, but shades of dark-pale gray. Now I’m awake and she’s disappeared, I know I’ll miss her for the whole day. As soon as I’m home it’s back to bed, she’ll be waiting within my walls of red. And then I drift off to my sweet, it’s only in my dreams we ever meet.

Silence 7

When star explodes, its billion times brighter than a sun. But that big supernova is how the star dies. I guess its the same when a soul with too much words explodes, it cause an utter silence.

Bond and Free

Love has earth to which she clings With hills and circling arms about-- Wall within wall to shut fear out. But Thought has need of no such things, For Thought has a pair of dauntless wings. On snow and sand and turf, I see Where Love has left a printed trace With straining in the world’s embrace. And such is Love and glad to be. But Thought has shaken his ankles free. Thought cleaves the interstellar gloom And sits in Sirius’ disc all night, Till day makes him retrace his flight, With smell of burning on every plume, Back past the sun to an earthly room. His gains in heaven are what they are.

On Looking Up by Chance at the Constellations

You’ll wait a long, long time for anything much To happen in heaven beyond the floats of cloud And the Northern Lights that run like tingling nerves. The sun and moon get crossed, but they never touch, Nor strike out fire from each other, nor crash out loud. The planets seem to interfere in their curves, But nothing ever happens, no harm is done. We may as well go patiently on with our life, And look elsewhere than to stars and moon and sun For the shocks and changes we need to keep us sane. It is true the longest drouth will end in rain, The longest peace in China will end in strife. Still it wouldn’t reward the watcher to stay awake In hopes of seeing the calm of heaven break

Canis Major

The great Overdog, That heavenly beast With a star in one eye, Gives a leap in the east. He dances upright All the way to the west And never once drops On his forefeet to rest. I’m a poor underdog, But tonight I will bark With the great Overdog That romps through the dark.

Fireflies in the Garden

Here come real stars to fill the upper skies, And here on earth come emulating flies, That though they never equal stars in size, (And they were never really stars at heart) Achieve at times a very star-like start. Only, of course, they can’t sustain the part.

Evening in a Sugar Orchard

From where I lingered in a lull in March Outside the sugar-house one night for choice, I called the fireman with a careful voice And bade him leave the pan and stoke the arch: ‘O fireman, give the fire another stoke, And send more sparks up chimney with the smoke.’ I thought a few might tangle, as they did, Among bare maple boughs, and in the rare Hill atmosphere not cease to glow, And so be added to the moon up there. The moon, though slight, was moon enough to show On every tree a bucket with a lid, And on black ground a bear-skin rug of snow. The sparks made no attempt to be the moon. They were content to figure in the trees As Leo, Orion, and the Pleiades.
