RAIN

The loud sound As crystal clear yet so blurry Able to hide our pains and sorrow Our tears seem faded in comparison A happy romantic weather A sad mournful shiver Such feeling seems to linger Just a while longer Until it's gentle touch causes us to wither.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

In every story there's a supposed happily ever after Also known as the end But what really is the end A bride and groom eloping together Or a young girl being given away to cancer But let's face it there's always going to be an after, a realisation that not all that glitters is gold She dies but what about the people around her They don't all die too But rather they move on They forget all about her Because in the end their life has to go on.

MISSING HEARTS

What do you think happens When two people fall in love The theory is when you love two hearts become one But what happens when the supposed love disappears What happens to loving eachother "for as long as you live" Now "as long as you love" And what was once a spark is nothing but the past Those hearts still remain intertwined And no matter whoever you love again There would always be that missing part of the heart

IN MY HEAD

While everyone else smiled I cried Listening to my heart beat as I died Now I feel nothing Speak nothing Hear nothing but the sound in my head To others it's nothing To my peers it's the demon speaking The sound which I yearn for Yet find so unbearable Making me do things unthinkable It's the sound of loneliness The only sound I've ever heard The only sound that listens and hears at the same time but never speaks.

PHOTOGRAPH

It's the only memory left Where time remained frozen Where history was all that mattered Where her smile never ceased Now it was only history And It held no sentimental value than a photograph.

DISTANCE

If the stars could cover the sky I'll be the biggest part of you But they don't That's why I'm non-existent to you.

THE COURSE

She cried Because she knew That no matter what he did She'd forgive him No matter what she heard She'll still paint him in a fine light What could she do She had mastered the art of love But she was yet to know all the pain she will endure for it's cause

LOVE UNTIL THE END

Time passed by and so did you The sun drifted and you did too.

SHIELD

They were three cubits high They protected me They were built on betrayal They kept away the hurt But now they were crumbling Faster than lightning Nothing could break them but his touch.
SadKaren Bassey

EMPTY

They claim to love An old walk down memory lane They always remember A history I never made They are happy In a world I cease to exist in It's obvious They are to good for me It feels like a burden And I know they feel so too.

LIABILITY

It doesn't hurt me to know you hate me I hate me too You don't need to feel bad for me I already do Don't try to hurt me It already hurts being me Don't try to love me It would only hurt more when you get tired It might all seem sad But don't worry about me For it all comes with being a liability.

Trauma Child

i realized that it is not my disbelief of love and it's realness; but rather, it is the understanding of the inability to attain that thing of which people so often refer to with fondness. i found it is the undeniable curse of being the unlovable. you see, it is not that love is heartbreak. it is that loving me is.
