3:16AM

It's 3:16AM and I can't sleep The whiz of the fan and the softness of my pillow Should be able to lull me But the monsters under my bed And the monsters above it Stop me from drifting off into a peaceful dream Where anything is possible And my wildest fantasies can come to life Darkness is my friend As I watch the figures dancing on the ceiling Waiting for my eyes to shut. Silently, I lay watching the sunlight pour into my room I guess no sleep again.

Talking in Your Sleep

You've been talking in your sleep It is not my name you call And I wonder, is it only a dream? Or do you have a secret lover? I can tell it's a very sensual dream But is it only your imagination? Or are you reliving some past liaison? I've never had any reason to mistrust you Do I have one now? And how can I know?

i'm slightly broken, crushed, more void then human. liquid fills the cracks, smoke blurres the lines, music shake the pieces. bathroom tiles hazy, light flickering to the beat of my heart, and i swear i see him. behind me with the red eyes and a killing pin between his lips. cracked hands running through my hair, smiling at me like every part of his shattered soul were lying in my hands. bathroom tiles still hazy, light still flickering, heart still beating. he has my soul, too

How can you be the highlight of my dreams and the monster under my bed.

dark woods

I went into the dark woods Escaped from all the hunters The sharp fire The rage shouts The mean faces And I found it was safe here No one would want me to die But it was cold at day And wintry so at night But i went with it anyway I thought I was okay I hoped I was okay

By the beach

The sun is shining bright Oh, it is so shiny The sea flows a lot I think it's gonna drown me

* * *

What will they call me? Ma'am? Sir? The anxiety creeps behind me ready too tackle at any give moment. Will I even be able to not feel the fear? Or will it stay? For I'll never know.

what is this beautiful feeling that everyone always talks about? she asks herself in the dark. no one answers of course. why would they? she sits on the bed and thinks about it more as worry is taking over her. will she ever know? will she ever feel it? her classmates, friends, as they call themselfes, always talk about it. how they found the one. how the girl in the class corner can't stop smiling because of him. how she found him. she hears her classmates talking about their feelings once again. about what they feel about each and every one of the people they know. but she, she's scared scared to get hurt

Sanity

And i see the world From tearing eyes That winds sway And breezes burn As hearts attached Losing patience But fathom not The sanity that remains Less than an atoms weight

Blanket of Darkness

My head is pounding with thoughts I am regressing inside my mind I don't know what I'll find I'm scared to get trapped there The real world phasing before my eyes And my reality gets shifted I don't know why this started Was there something that triggered it? The blanket has settled over me I went to shake it off But I also want to snuggle down deeper And relish in the darkness I've been there before I made it out alive Somewhat
