I think
You don't like me
I think
You don't care
I think
You rather be with him
I think
It's because I am ugly
I think
It's because I'm stupid
I think
I don't matter
I think
No one cares
I think
I should cut
I have always been scared,
To fall in love.
I have always been scared,
To lose someone I love.
The thing you don't see,
Is what is inside of me.
The part of me,
That wants to be free.
I always knew,
Not to let it out.
Because there would,
Always be doubts.
I am always terrified,
Of my life.
I need someone,
To show me the right.
Drowning,
I am drowning,
save me, help me.
Someone, anyone,
give me a reason,
To save my life.
I wanna live,
But i am drowning,
in a pool,
of nothing but darkness.
Show me the light,
give me a reason,
to save my life,
from the darkness.
Someone,
anyone,
can you hear those crashing sounds
those hits when they land
it's the place where you cannot run
the place where you cannot stand
it's a place you don't dare breathe
a place you're afraid to see
a place so beautiful
that no one wants to be
you hear those crashing sounds
those hits when they land
but you are stuck in the deep dark blue
begging for the sight of sand
Should I speak up even if it's too late?
Should I have told the truth from the start?
Should I have held back my lies,
and opened up my heart?
Can I do it now?
Can I say the words out loud?
Can I make them believe me one more time?
Would I be able to face the crowd?
How can I be as strong,
as I put myself up to be?
When I know the act was wrong,
but is that what they will see?
There is a Beast in my house
who makes the wood creak
to errupt the sound of a mouse
he makes the doors squeak
The Beast lives beneath our floors
and within all our walls
so that you can hear his roar
whenever he calls
The Beast hates the smell
of mum's nightly food
The Beast once took a large knife
and in the doorframe he stood
Making mum's lips quiver of fright
and seeing her hit the floor
my Beast of a father was my last memory
as I ran out of the front door
I am afraid of two things.
not understanding
and being alone.
i don't know why, and no one seems to share that view
Outside in the great big world
Monsters deep in cracks
Too young to understand
That a battle you will face
Others will hate your grace
Others will adorn your love
Others will pretend and leave
It’s a great big world out there
Are you prepared?
A long, thin hand,
Encapsulates my back,
Coldness spreads through me.
A soft sounds,
flows from my mouth,
A cold lip,
pinching my skin.
The weight of a body,
pushes me down.
Gentle yet hard.
My stomach gurgles,
My heart races against my mind,
My body hot and sticky.
My breathing choking on itself.
My heart stings in its position.
Suddenly every touch feels like my last
My hands that of a corpse
My eyes hollow hugging bone
My lips dry and cold
The walls filled with whispers
Of the dead waiting for my return
The floors filled with creaks
Signaling the time has come
I walk through every door
Like the reaper waits on the other side
Roses are white
Painted with blood
So says the queen of heart
She dictates the production
Of each dyed blossom
Formed from the end of life
The queen of hearts takes early
I am drowning
The sea lapses over my head
The current pushes me further down
My legs beat and bate to no avail
The icy water rushes
It conforms to my body
In the face of the endless sea
I am naught but a grain of sand
Soon my legs stop
As I succumb to the lashing darkness
As twilight eclipses my vision
My last thought is not of my loved ones
But what shall become of me at my midnight hour
