* * *

Should I prefer the pain of it all? It seems wrong to want to be in pain, but is feeling nothing at all any better. It can't be. isolation is in life indolent. I prefer the pain to the void. .maybe from the pain i can sow happiness.

life doesn't give me angelic voices, no guardian angels whispers of assurance maybe its that way because I believe it is.. or maybe i just haven't learned the language yet

I Feel

I fear It sometimes brings me to tears I smile It has been a while I yell It is a story I don't like to tell I greave It feels like it will never leave I do these things because I'm alive I feel because it's how I survive Because who would I be When I don't feel like me The fear, happiness, depression and anger This is the reason we endure

The Forest

Listening to the creatures of the forest I hear between their calls A stillness of breath As I watch the sky fall

You?

You and you. You are a maybe of yes and no. Two and one and none, But somehow infinite. You and you. You, a duality of right and wrong. Existing in the in-between. In the never answer the now. You and you. You don't yet know that you don't know. Devoid of constant, But still one and the same. You and you. You are now, and forever will be. Face your double. You can always count on them.

Flowing Water

The green remains And the greys and browns of yesteryear Upon moving blues And stalwart reds, I wish to be one with the water. The wind shifted waves Moving throughout my veins, The life lump my skin. Lightly compacted by the land around me. I wish for people to bask in my cool beauty. My everspanning deep. I wish to reflect the world upon my self. I wish for my flesh to reveal your true being. Come, Stare upon my form Within you, see me

Shadows

We are all afraid of the dark Some more than others Afraid of the unknown So we hide under the covers We are afraid of what we might find We are afraid to find something bad We are afraid of what it can and will do So we cover our sight with our hands As you lay there fast asleep It lays there darker than gray The only one not leaving your side Yet at night, when you see it, you're afraid As you cry, it cries there with you As you laugh, it laughs along beside you As you walk, it either walks beside you,

The Lake

An unnamed bird skims the surface. You linger as an afterthought.
