And Yet

I'm broken. I'm scarred. I've been working myself too hard. I'm anxious. I'm afraid. I keep thinking of the mess I've made. And yet, I keep going.

I've fallen. I've cried. Everyday, I've lied. I'm envious. I'm corrupted. Every time I see myself, I'm disgusted. And yet, I keep going.

I'm hateful. I'm destructive. My actions, they're impulsive. I'm unstable. I'm foolish. Some might even say I'm ghoulish. And yet, I keep going.

I'm flawed. That's the truth. It's been like this ever since my youth. But I don't want it to be who I am. I won't let my life be a sham. And so, I keep going.
