Mask

Jade HoltRomantic

How can you see through my mask? The one I've spent an eternity building? Tried so hard to fit society's cast, But you saw right through me. You could tell me the tales of my own past Without a stutter or a flaw You know my mistakes And have never once judged me Because after all You know how it feels to be broken. Perhaps that is how you have removed my mask And why I let you in.
