Me and my Merry Men

LauraAnxious

Sometimes i feel like my walls are crumbling from the inside out Sometimes i break and the tiny merry men inside of me scurry about Fixing the gaping hole before anyone sees Some days my merry men fix the hole before it's too big But sometimes my merry men forget and the hole inside of me it rises to the surface shrieking and tearing at my outsides revealing my mauled insides people don't know what to think but my merry men realise their mistake they run carrying the bricks and foundations to fix me bricks on self-preservation foundations of protection and the hole that reveals my despairing, withering insides is gone closed to the world so no one can see who i truly am and how i feel
