* * *

She spends her time nose-first in a book always craving more. Life is too tedious for her. She dreams of adventure; She dreams of love. When she puts herself out there people hurt her. She wears her heart on her sleeve It's battered and broken and stitched together. She's lost people, and apart of her was lost with them. But maybe now she has a chance. She's met you. You're taking it slow, and secretly she's grateful. She aches to spill her heart to you, but she's terrified you will run away. Every day she trusts you more against her better judgment, and every day she risks more. Remember another life depends on you. She may never recover if you break her too.
