Color Poem #2 Blue 10-5-21

Samantha HarperContemplative

I am lost But not hopeless In a state of what i call blue-ish

It's the feeling of drowing in your own ocean But being calmer than you should he Not having the mental capacity at the moment to swim

Its the feeling of deep sadness But it's soft A dull, plane, hurt that caresses your heart with numb fingers All the while playing a soft lullaby A mother softly singing you to sleep with tears in her eyes

Its a calm color A sad color A peaceful color

It's a color i hope to feel instead of nothing It's comforting in a slightly unhealthy way

But it's also the color of my skies that make my day so happy and beautiful.

So please excuse my blue-ish mood if it makes you depressed To me, it's the color of a long deserved rest.
