scatter like petals, not broken glass

much forbidden, the position I've been dragged into against my will and my eyed closed like flowers blooming out of spite in all the wrong places

it's been said, it's been unsaid again and again when this love, so naive has the nerve to grow untamed like the thorns of coloured roses always hurting the one who nurtured them

always, it's the same gray cobble that cracks in weary corners when another weed grows through and another love seeks you a garden that cannot hold the ivy down such is your charm, the infallible blue

from the same blue graveyard when it creeps through it spreads like ink course in my nerves when the blue stops shying away the arteries can't billow enough the willow cannot flow with the wind because it would wilt

in the direction of you.

uncontrollable, unfortunately untamable has it so been and shall it stay until the first to fall is me uncanny, the unfamiliar injustice of the one that is slain in the meaningless caress of a sea you'd try to behold and fail

of all things undefined including the love irresolute, irrefutable of you
