Life, a lie

How much truth in words? How much fully said How much wanted to say How much conveyed How much understood How much you want to know? When truth itself is so limited – Its all a lie- LOVE, LIFE, LIE…

I love you That's a lie. You haven't loved me in weeks. Had you even love me? I don't know anymore

A happy mood

A blooming rose, so perfect. Yet, do you see the thorns? A friendly smile, so casual. Behind it, how many lies? A helping hand, so welcoming. The true intention is? A cut on a wrist, attention seeking. Hell yeah, you wish. A thousand stars, in the night sky. Reflect only the moon? A gentle kiss, so full of love. Or is it just pure lust? A small sickness, over soon. Or lead us to the end? A spark of fire, so weak and fragile. Could cause a town to burn?

With A Grain Of Salt

i fell for it, hook line and sinker, because how can you ignore a lie when it's exactly what you needed to hear?

And Yet

I'm broken. I'm scarred. I've been working myself too hard. I'm anxious. I'm afraid. I keep thinking of the mess I've made. And yet, I keep going. I've fallen. I've cried. Everyday, I've lied. I'm envious. I'm corrupted. Every time I see myself, I'm disgusted. And yet, I keep going. I'm hateful. I'm destructive. My actions, they're impulsive. I'm unstable. I'm foolish. Some might even say I'm ghoulish. And yet, I keep going. I'm flawed. That's the truth.

I forgot that I loved you, I forgot every time I wanted you, Every memory I had with you. I also forgot how to be honest, I still lie, I can never forget you, ny vivid dream. But for you, I am a fading memory.

Secrets

You tell me nothing's wrong But I see right through that lie You say "go away" and "it's private" hoping I don't know what's going on But I know, what it's all about. You pretend that nothing goes wrong, trying not to hurt me, but I know, and it hurts. It kills me inside, makes me feel useless to you, if not a toy. Yet I pretend that nothing's wrong, I carry on my normal life. I say nothing's wrong, and you can't see through my wall

the chase.

we've yet to be anything but strangers, though you promise that will change. and every time you say it, i loose a little more faith. we came so close, so how were we so far from knowing that in the end we'd drift away with the currents, like every other day maybe i have a thing for getting so close, for loving someone who's incapable of loving me, for giving my all and getting nothing in return. with that being said, it's all i know. all i've ever known were, empty promises, and lies. it should be no surprise that i fall for these types of guys. the ones who give you just enough attention to keep you attached. and you fall for it. telling yourself; it'll be different,

just him

I don't know when but there was a point in time where I stopped lying about having no one else.
