Secrets

You tell me nothing's wrong But I see right through that lie You say "go away" and "it's private" hoping I don't know what's going on But I know, what it's all about. You pretend that nothing goes wrong, trying not to hurt me, but I know, and it hurts. It kills me inside, makes me feel useless to you, if not a toy. Yet I pretend that nothing's wrong, I carry on my normal life. I say nothing's wrong, and you can't see through my wall I keep my secrets, and it's getting worse I need to talk to someone, but they're never there They have told me their secret, and I need to talk to them about mine. And you're a part of it I might be able to fix it some day, but you never talk to me. You say it's your ugly side, but I know all about it, I could help, but all you do is shut me out. I know about your problems, I really want to help. But you won't let me in, you lock me out but pretend that I'm in So I just pretend nothing's wrong, and go along. But I need my best friend, my secret keeper, almost my everything at the moment. I don't know what goes on anymore I still smile, pretend nothing is ever wrong. Say I'm always good or great. But I'm really sick to the stomach, tired, lonely, depressed. And one day bye might be for good
