Brick Wall

I'm just a brick wall Sitting here proud and strong But it comes with a price I'm always alone, no people to lean on me If I crumble there's no one to repair me So that day when I crumble I'll just sit there More broken than I am The enemy doesn't stop beating on me Pounding me, trying to get me to crumble Sometimes people come and help But usually they leave before the enemy is done The enemy slowly beats me, the brick wall, down And when they finally manage, it's chaos inside There is nowhere safe to hide They can only stand and fight Until someone comes to fix the broken wall again All it is, is just a pattern I'm built, I'm beat down, chaos, I'm fixed I want to go out, stop being a wall for a little bit But I can't, because if I do, the enemy will get inside. The enemy thinks I have no feelings, no power, no strength But they are too wrong They are as wrong as black is white Everything they think about me, the wall, is false And one day, they will regret it And it might not come from me, or it might It could come tomorrow, or even in ten years. But when it does, they will regret beating down the wall The defense of so many, yet only a few The last joy, the last hope, Able to be beaten down Needs a repairman to fix, but who is up to the challenge? Of going outside for a little while? Just to fix the brick wall. The one where people scribble their feelings, mark their place, or even pour out their feelings While on the outside, the wall is being attacked Beaten against, so why take it? To protect the ones inside, to stop the chaos from arising, to protect friends and loved ones. Then when the beating is done, the enemy goes home Waiting for the next day to attack It will never stop, for no reason Then when the wall is beaten down, more chaos arises again and again But then someone fixes the wall in the chaos, the one caring soul. Fixes the wall and gets the enemy out. They are now safe. That's why there is a brick wall.

Secrets

You tell me nothing's wrong But I see right through that lie You say "go away" and "it's private" hoping I don't know what's going on But I know, what it's all about. You pretend that nothing goes wrong, trying not to hurt me, but I know, and it hurts. It kills me inside, makes me feel useless to you, if not a toy. Yet I pretend that nothing's wrong, I carry on my normal life. I say nothing's wrong, and you can't see through my wall I keep my secrets, and it's getting worse I need to talk to someone, but they're never there They have told me their secret, and I need to talk to them about mine. And you're a part of it I might be able to fix it some day, but you never talk to me. You say it's your ugly side, but I know all about it, I could help, but all you do is shut me out. I know about your problems, I really want to help. But you won't let me in, you lock me out but pretend that I'm in So I just pretend nothing's wrong, and go along. But I need my best friend, my secret keeper, almost my everything at the moment. I don't know what goes on anymore I still smile, pretend nothing is ever wrong. Say I'm always good or great. But I'm really sick to the stomach, tired, lonely, depressed. And one day bye might be for good

Remembrance

I remember almost every moment, but when I ask you, you just don't answer. I don't know how you cannot remember our first year together. But somehow you do, and that's really confusing. My heart shriveled up and died when I learnt, but it's nothing new to me. It's happened countless times before, what's one more time? I remember the first time we kissed, now I'm wondering if it even matters to you. I remember everything, big or small. But you can't even remember our best Christmas together. You who can usually remember everything, suddenly cannot remember one. The memories flash in to my head, like a wave during a flood. But now, they don't matter, if you cannot remember a single one. I have grown too strong, to break down and cry. I just sit here, with a straight look on my face. Neither a smile or frown, make it on my smooth crown. But then I remember, this is not the first time. I talk with others, I manage to smile a little. But when I pas over your name, I am reminded of the pain. I choose not to talk, it may be for the best. My heart has left me, maybe 'cause I cared too much. The one's who no longer care, once cared the most.

Depression

Life is just a pattern, there is nothing new, nothing special. The same old thing, day after day. Nobody cares, nobody notices, it is good that nobody notices. If they noticed, they would only get hurt. If they tried to love, they would be heartbroken, their heart’s would die. I do not want to hurt them, so it would be safest just to go.

The Cage

There is no escape From this place I named The Cage But there’s help for once.

What it's Like To Be an Immaculate Misconception

Everything is fine Or that’s how it seems to be Nothing is wrong That’s what others think of me

Everything is happy When I play my cards right Nothing is sad If we talk while there is light

Everything is joyful Because I talk about random things Nothing is depressing Covered in my mask, so clean

Everything is random I make it so Nothing makes sense If I accidentally make a row

Everything is not what it seems Hidden in my mask, pure, stark Nothing is what you see When I sit alone in the dark

Everything is dark Down here in the night Nothing is right In my mind that is planning my next plight

Everything is broken In this world so destroyed Nothing can live From this dark void

Everything is good That’s how others think of me Nothing is bad Until they reach into my mind internally

Everything is black Very minute light exists Nothing is light When nothing is all that consists

Everything is a lie Most things aren’t told Nothing is true As I watch events unfold

Everything is broken I try to patch it up Nothing is saved As it’s drunken from death’s cup

Everything is fixed Once I stay strong Nothing hurts If I am gone

Anger

Red Depressing Runs through my veins Stabs me in the heart Loves none Fears less Get it away, out of my head My mind, is playing tricks... Or is it? Hurt Fueled when they don't give up My music, diminishes, yet amplifies it.

Chest pains

It hurts Some nights, I can't sleep They say- "it's normal" But do they really know Or are they, just guessing? It's getting worse For two weeks now Will it ever stop? Or will it only get worse?
