Fish

One little line. That's how it starts You took the bait And now you can't stop Two little lines You have to test it one last time You might get drawn in But it might be worth trying Three little lines? It's too late now You're hooked on it Now numb to the feeling Ten little lines At least you made it even It's too late to save you Now the lines will start to deepen

S.A

Walking with you to your place I can barely keep my legs straight Everything seems so hazy Except for you and your face Make back to your bed Everything's spinning in my head Only thing that I see Is you climbing on top of me "Stop, this isn't right", I protest when you kiss I want my first time to be special, not a memory I'll miss "Baby you're mine for the night", you say. Before continuing the plans you've made This is wrong but feels so right This is wrong but feels so right Maybe if I let it happen it'll be alright Enjoy your body for the night

Liar

You know I'd never lie to you And to tell the truth There was a time where I'd die for you But now I'm dead With nothing to do I was nothing but a tool for your amusement Your wants and needs And once I outlived my usefulness You threw me away, and found another to use So bury me with your memories Like your childhood toys and houses on trees You know I never lied to you But now I'm dead, and soon you will be too My soul wanders these streets My spirit flies above my town While my heart lies six feet underground

Broken

How can someone Who put your broken pieces back together Tear them back apart? Someone who knew you Inside and out And thought you were a work of art. How can someone Who put your broken pieces back together Tear them back apart? Someone who supported you Eve though the choices you made May not have been smart. Someone who knew your monsters Just as well as you But still cared with all their heart. How can someone

Terry

I barely knew her Yet, I still cried. Why? She was important. Daughter, Sister, Mother. And much more.

Helpless

I wept for a child last night A child I don't even know I heard him scream: "No, please! Why do you do this to me!" And I could do nothing to help I could only listen.

Alright

People keep asking, "How are you?" I can't say that I'm good. I can't say that I'm fine. All I can say is: "I'm alright." Somebody once told me That's what you should say When you're not okay.

just maybe

everything I find comfort, peace in leaves. maybe if I started finding peace and comfort in lonely nights, broken hearts and sad smiles just maybe, maybe they will leave me too.

Cursed

He stared into the dark sky with his empty eyes. All light gone. The sparkling, shallow water pooled around his naked, delicate feet, which were now adorned with permanent scars. The scars were jewels he had been gifted on his birthday. He didn't ask for them. The scars weren't the only thing he was gifted with. He was gifted with loneliness. The sea had stolen his parents. "Even if you touch my feet a thousand times, I won't forgive you for taking my parents" Those were the words he wanted to scream but he couldn't, for the ocean had taken more than his parents from him. It had stolen his voice.
