Silence

Still and ever lasting My thoughts move slow yet precise in silence On the hill again My breathing is slow yet calm where have I been? Silence. I can't hear because there is "crash!" Noise My thoughts race, heart pounds, breaths rapid as time's fly Noise I can't hear because

Winter's Solace

Standing on a hill Vista serene Winding road as winter wind blows My cold frozen hands enclosed in gloves The wind blows my scarf The sun bleak and fading through the empty sky Standing on a hill Again in winter Wondering when warmth will come Wondering when solace will go Wondering where I have

* * *

Across the lake I saw. The glistening water and a person. myself. Silence. The wind moving. The earth crunching. The clouds passing. Silence. Parties in the hills. A dreamy bliss. Clouded bathrooms and red light rooms. This is the life. Trapped in a room. Full of doors that lead no where. This is the mind.

Autumn ένα

Bouncing Bass lines. Clouds wave over the sky like an ocean. The orange trees look so dull. But the filter my eyes see through is so vivid. Traveling roads already ridden. Last times I'll see the tunnels of vegetation. As the clock strikes six on the year i reflect as a mirror does. Autumn air so fresh handpicked from the highest garden. Life is good. Bouncing bass lines.

Dried Petals

Illusionary Silence

The silence that ensues thereafter The storm that once prevailed Is so timeless, and yet unnatural For it is unlike any other After what seems years of the raging noise The tranquil silence reverberates around And even as I sink into its embrace It dissipates into nothingness I snap awake, come to my senses The silence was never here I never realized just how welcome it was Until the storm drove it away....

We struggle by night, and wait for the day

Eyes wide open, blinking dreams away Voices saunter in, stars glow in the dark They glow against swirls of blue and white The silence rings in my ears, loud as a singing lark The wind breezes through dusty grills and runs its fingers along my heels Toes wiggle, remembering sunnier days of spinning about in the grass in wheels The night is but a haven of ashes that remains of the phoenix's glorious flight A million stars, not stifled by the sky Rain upon me their lowly light The sheets are pulled up to my chin My small bubble of warmth and safety Even with the raging thoughts inside The bubble holds itself sturdily

My Cave

Down the hill Behind the tower You'll find a cave Where one can take shelter If you run away There you could stay And wait out the turmoil It's nice to be alone Listening to nature Alone with the birds Alone with the foxes Alone with the rabbits Often in life One just has to be in a cave

Wait

Quiet, I sit in my small boat Alone, I wait Purple and gold sky A sea dark and still Alone, I wait
