someone said that
when the sun is closer to the moon than the earth
there's a solar eclipse
or when the moon is in earth's shadow

and maybe if theres one day that
the sun is between the moon and earth
the world would descend into chaos
and nothing would be of its billion years of existence
but what if i told you
that you're like my sun
and i'm the earth

Your skin was smooth against the covers of my bed,
Those early morning sunrises on sundays,
I looked forward to your presence for it kept me warm at night,
And when you skin touched the blankets it blessed my spot all week,
You came over late at night and left with the sun,

Your skin was soft againgst my callused fingers,
And my skin was sickly against your gazing glare.

I was never very good with love
It's complex yet simple

When the person intrigues you so much

It's embarrassing
You want to be the person they "love"
You hope you don't make a fool of yourself
So you stay quiet as long as possible

But I'm a Taurus
And the Sun told the Moon that it will scatter segments of its heart at night so that it won't ever have to be alone. And thus stars were born

Now everything is back to normal, but more. More depth, more things to say and feel. It's like we were reborn again, like we are blooming. You do exist. I do exist.
Everything seems so good.

that she would notice your existence
