Stranger

PriscillaAnxious

You were gone for a few days. I missed you. A lot. On the day you came back, You never texted me. Letting me know you were home. Yet, why did I? I began to think. To wonder. I began to doubt. Even so, I mustered up all my courage and sent a little "Hey." I pushed myself to keep the conversation going. As we continued to "talk," I began to notice something. Your words were different. The way you typed. The conversation itself. The few days that you were gone, you had completely changed. As my attention grew stronger, the more noticeable it was. I became scared. I didn't know who this person was. It wasn't my friend. It wasn't the one boy who I loved. It was a stranger.
