Remote

The longest we spoke were when we were quiet The longest time we have spent were far apart How typically ironical that we turned our back too late, after our heart had already intertwined.

Bittersweet

"I want the real you" she cried He hesitated and said " I can't" She insisted,"its the only way, I can't take you otherwise" then he looked on to her daring eyes and did what she asked. He poured his messy soul in a cup. He mixed loyalty later with betrayal, his big dreams with his dark past, his honesty in denial, his tenderness with indifference , his boldness with resistance, his shame with arrogance, forever with an end and eternity in breakups. Then he gave her the glass of his bare heart with shaking hand saying "its blend of bittersweet, you won't like it" but She looked up to him with "I love all of you" smirk. And taken aback by the aroma she eagerly wanted to drink

Is It Me or You?

Ain't no getting over it is there? Painted blue when you'd rather be neutral. Never asked for emotions, But who ever asked you what you wanted? No one... Dull eyes, unable to cry. Numbed hands, unable to hurt. Crippled heart, unable to leap at the minimal mention of happiness. Who did this to you? Who made you hallow? Is it really the one you think of? Was told that you were loved, So remind me what love is. Dichotomy, contradicting, Set fire to my carefree decisions. Without hesitation, break me down.

He clutched my heart and gushed out through my eyes

ruptured heart

I'm still a breath away from that moment I can still hear her sweet voice from when we danced the night away I'm still a breath away from her screams and the sound of her bones breaking I've decided that hearts don't break 'cause they're not bones they're muscles and they rupture and tear

II Whisper

And, I whispered lies to my own heart Just to avoid more damage

I give you my heart

Oh! Did you say you want my heart? Here it is, Of what use can a dead thing be anyway?

The ghost in my heart

You came barging in, even when I told you not to I locked all the doors but you were already inside Now you keep wandering about trapped in my heart Trying to find your way out I want to give you way but, it seems that I've forgotten where I'd kept the keys I want to let you out Not for you sake but mine But I'll let you wander some more And let you go when it's destined...

Of This Great Voiceless Love

Of this great voiceless love of mine for you There is no word to your heart out of mine That may go winging through the whispering night. Look only then for laughter in my letters As I from day to day The Fool rehearse. And if one blushing phrase too boldly written Inscribes too fervently that I am yours, Believe it only penmanship and style, Or the careless informality of friends.

What Is Beneath?

a scrap of satin - some wood what is beneath the wood ? dirt : the earth it is cold is it alive ? it contains the stir of flowers it contains the whispering grass and above it all ? some turf the blue sky what are you listening to ? my dark blood the heart plays a tattoo beneath this pale linen this wool-stuff and ?

A Tale

there is a huge gray bird out on the roof he wants to eat my heart out the daisies are asleep no-one knows. I chased a galloping lamb up the road remember the day it got away and galloped up the road and was gone ? there is a huge gray bird on the roof outside he wants to eat out my heart the daisies are asleep and no-one knows. I chased a galloping lamb up the road remember the day it escaped the butcher’s van and galloped up the road.
