Gaian

Don't ask what she'd do If her love was in danger The answer's too much If they took her love All that's left would be her rage She'd tear worlds apart

first moments

You my love Turned over first Not just once ... Kept on rolling.... Till you fell and cried I cried the first time with you Fearing the worst Then it happened again.... Again and again .... Till we both got over it Then you stood shocking me But you carefree .....as if you always knew it You always make me wonder of creatures called parents

* * *

In the woods catching leaves As they fall on your head, When you feel a little tired, Curling up in bed, Seeing a painting so enchanting You just stand there and stare, Talking deep to a friend Emotions laid bare. Mist on a lake, One single cloud in the sky, Storm rolling across the ocean, The things that make you wonder why, Somethings are beautiful, Somethings make you smile, You are all those things and more I miss you more than a sea

Reticent Star

A lone star shines bright in the sky. It reminds me of you, actually. A bright light in the endless abyss. A sole hope against the dark ceiling above. My Reticent star, you are the only one for me. You do not see yourself as I see you. A hot mess, a tangle of toxicity and flame. But that is not what you are to me. As my eyes adjust to the night, as the clouds move away, I see the other stars. Not as bright. Not as beautiful. They mean nothing to me. There is no star to surpass you. I deserve better, you say, but where? I see no equal. I focus my eyes back on you, my bright, beautiful, shining star. I gaze upon your glory. I blink, and you blink back. You. Blink back at me. Something is amiss... I know.

Oh How I Wish

Oh how i wish i could be the young and innocent child again Years have past and memories have faded U am no longer the child they remembered Nor am I the young adult they expected. They still see me as the little girl with bows in her hair wearing the dress to match the bows But now I am the teenager who is kissing her boyfriend Young and free as the wind They needed to see me and him to fully understand I hurt too much to be the child they once knew But I love the person I have become from being hurt too much The person who I am now is careless and reckless All from being shielded as a child. I'm sorry they had to see me grow up so fast and fall in love But it was meant to be

Broken Glass

I am still a little mad at you as i lift your head and kiss your lips and they taste of blood and the glass is broken over the floor and shines from some light but it’s dark in here and classical guitars are coming through the window are echoing their passion from years ago but it feels like here those notes and all this glass and all the soft parts of us that need to be gathered up and might as well be collected in the stanzas of some tragically romantic song because at least that wouldn’t make us seem so small left here in our mess smeared

The Twain

Secret whispers, The silent tongue, Meet on the bridge of the mind The twain. Desire the thorny bed of the desperate Seeking unity on plains divided, Define longing across time For another. Gifted a rare fullness to the void between birth and departure, Magnetism strong as the daylight shines, council and guide, Through sable hours I confide From stake and easing tether. Such great distances apart Though almost together.

A Cool Change

One summer morning, I woke and smelled the promise of a warm day. One warmish evening, we spoke and saw the promise of a love to stay. Sure enough, the day was warm, and pleasant, so much better than I thought. Sure enough the love was long, so perfect, that I couldn’t get enough. Then the sun was sinking down, was lower in the sky Then my heart was breaking down, and slipping off its high Looking up, into the sky, the storm clouds rolling over Looking up, into his eyes, they slowly ceased to smoulder The breeze was getting stronger, getting colder all the while The nights were seeming longer, and it hurt too much to smile Soon enough, the warm gave in, the rain began to pour

Waiting For the Day

I silently sit by the window staring deep into the night sky. Hoping for something to crash down from the heavens, distracting me from my thoughts at least for a little while. Disappointed I close my eyes waiting for a sound to steal the pictures from my mind. Praying for a breeze to wrack a shiver down my spine. So instead I consentrate on keeping my heart rate down when I get that feeling of butterflies in my stomach. Asking them to be calm and

Liquid Love

This feeling mounds inside me I feel it moving I want a love I felt inside The water moving through me I'm moving through heavy water The love is enormous Its lifting me up Through clouds and skies Sunlight and air But I feel better wadding through tidal waves, Where the deepest currents flow I opened up a mirror, Before me was true love, I felt the water raining slowly, Water rising up over my head I'm moving through heavy water,

Dreams

Its killing me, To not know what could of been, Having a brain without a head, But I still move forward. My feet scrap the ground, My head looking down, I have only a mistake that can't be fixed. But I still move forward. I thought I couldn't live, Without you by my side, Though now you aren't, But I still move forward. I walk a lonely street, One where two people should meet, But there is only one set of feet, But I still move forward.
