It was love..wasnt it??

it was love, wasn't it the touches , it was love the kisses , it was love the holds , it was love the tears, it was love but it wasn't enough not enough, was it? and he walked away like it was the easiest thing to do showed that it wasn't love but infatuation

"You Don't Need Me"

You don't see the way it hurts me when he says he loves you. You don't feel the way my heart aches when you speak of his kiss. You don't know the tears that flow from my eyes are because you love another. You simply do not know that I love you. You don't need to know, though, because you love another. You don't need to get over him; I need to get over you. You don't need the love I long to show you. You don't need me like I need you. You don't need my love. You are my best friend.

"Crush- Haiku"

Fawning over one. Tender kiss, shyly stolen. Sweet nothings whispered.

Love, a Lost Cause?

I sit and wonder Wonder if love was forced What if love was not real I love music May my life be devoted to music For my music loves me back I watch couples kiss and dance A few weeks later Watching them wanting to kill each other Maybe love isn't something you should think about Maybe, just maybe It should be lost Never to be touched or seen again

Ink Stains

We sat on the bus today after school I took the blue vial of ink and gave it to you Warning, telling you that you shouldn't open it You did anyway Those ink stains on your hands Oh, I wish I could be a stain in your memory Never leaving always there My mother said something to me today The ones we love the most Can hurt us the most What if you hurt me? I like you more than most of my buddies What if, I end up liking you to the point I don't want you to leave I'll be sad to even think of that day where you walk out of my life When you leave my side

Letting Go, Being Free

Here we are With one quest in life To be free How is this virtuous prize to be won Where is it to be found To be latched down by your own life By your own heart To love someone with your heart And for them to not love back Them being your lock to freedom And the key saying, 'forget' Forget that love For it will never be returned Forget those feelings For they likely have been pushed aside Forget those memories

Dream Boy

Your eyes are green… Or maybe brown or blue But whatever color they are They remind me of spring. Your hair is brown… As brown as a grizzly bear’s coat. Or as brown as a big oak tree’s bark. You laugh as if there is no tomorrow. You are my dream boy. Tall as a tree? That you are. Brave and strong. You are my dream boy. Your hands are like butterflies In orchestra. Your smile….oh,

My love

Every time my heart beat it beat in time with yours Every time I took a deep breath your lungs filled with air We were completely in sync Mind and body Heart and soul We will always be linked even though you aren't here I miss feeling you hearing you Just knowing that you were mine You, my love The one I made and the one who made me

No one like you

You feel like sunshine A warm ray beaming down across my skin Soaking you in You aren't around often No one could ever find sunshine like you You feel like moonlight A cool shimmer lighting up my sky Watching you grow You aren't around often No one could ever find moonlight like you

Infection

Infected with your love The virus infested in my heart It grew around my body eating away at my mind It ran through my blood and I it's willing host Like water seeping into every gap The doctors couldn't prescribe me anything They said it's too far gone I'm sorry there's nothing we can do The machine went flat and a long beep came out Your face drained of colour, you moved to her face Realisation infested your mind The guilt grew around your body You are bow the host

DOUBLE SIGHT

An aberration in my eyeglasses gives me a tiny bright star next to Venus, down and to her right, as if her hand is curled in a fist, slightly raised. I like to think of Venus with a fist—a soft Tai Chi fist with all the strength of exquisite balance behind it. Love-and-Beauty smiling a lazy smile, knowing that hate-and-ugliness is nothing but a nattering nuisance, a foolish foe with no notion at all of her power.
