false assumptions

The teardrops run down, And fall of her nose, She cries in dark corners, Where nobody goes You can follow the tracks, From her eyes to her chin, Years upon years, Of letting them win, And her eyes tell a story of anger and pain, You think that she's happy, But look again, Her smile is now painted, She's a master of disguise, But you can see it all, Just look into her eyes.

nostalgia

l looked at a picture of us You had the most breathtaking smile What happened to the little girl that dreamed the impossible That would hide behind mum when she was shy You don't smile much anymore and the things that do make you smile aren't who you really are I miss that little girl that believed in herself that thought she could do anything l'm sorry that I couldn't protect you From a world that broke your heart I just want to see you smile like you used to

the only thing more incredible than your smile, is when you smile at me

The Way She Smiled

I think it had something to do with the way she smiled She often did so when reading a book, or looking at a friends text She would look around, hoping no one caught her in the act I, however, have always been there I think it had something to do with the way she laughed She would throw her head back, having absolutely no cares in the world Her whole body would darken like a paler shade of red I have always laughed with her mind I think it had something to do with her dark blue hair Her confidence grew as her hair became much like the deep ocean tides She began to hold her head up higher to the high sky These changes I noticed the most I think that until now, you thought this was a love poem

here we go again my heart shattering again but I just don't seem to care A little laugh A little smile that'll keep them off my back for a while. there isn't a day where I wouldn't like to say maybe today I wouldn't feel this way maybe.... No it's just me you see and my insecurities. I'm just procrastinating nothing new

She smiled and laughed to numb her pain But just like all medicine It wore off eventually

Chaos Has The Upper Hand.

Crying is a weakness. Every tear which slides down my face is a traitor. I feel numb-no i feel angry, Everyday, every single damned day is a struggle. A struggle to keep up the act. Each smile holds a thousand secrets. My smile holds memories. Harsh words, Fearful actions, Broken hearts. The only thing left of the betrayers is a runny nose- That, however, is on the outside. Inside a battle rages on... And chaos has the upper hand.

smile√

With tears In her eyes she smiled in the mirror You're a strong one, you fell but got up Although right now I don't know how much longer you can keep it up And her smile dies down while she holds the blade to her wrist

I see you watch her now, It used to be me but once again it's her. Shes noticed too but tells me she doesn't want you, I know your pure heart, If she ever gets to know you- I'll be the supportive friend, We were never meant to be, Be happy, that's your plan. Fix her heart, I'll fix my own. Don't worry about me, I'll always have a smile on my face, even when I'm too tired. Don't look me in the eye though or else I might cry.

Andy

His eyes held a million emotions, a lot of love. His hair was a beautiful soft wavy bunch His smile brightened up a room But he rarley let that show He was a gem that tried to blend And for a moment, he succeeded His stare was a glare, hard and cold like winters nights But his eyes held, wanting. Wanting of love, wanting of happiness, wanting of a family. So, I hope one day we reunite For hopeless it may beI'll be here with an open heart

The Gulls

You forgot to remove his hands still stroking your breasts in slow circles like gulls, white bellies tight, as you so naked tried to light a smile.

Smiles

I saw a black girl once, As black as winter's night; Till through her parted lips There came a flood of light; It was the milky way Across her face so black: Her two lips closed again, And night came back. I see a maiden now, Fair as a summer's day; Yet through her parted lips I see the milky way; It makes the broad daylight In summer time look black: Her two lips close again, And night comes back.
