begger

i'm not a begger, but for you, boy i'd get on my knees every night for you to just text me back if i had to.

its shitty how this goes

kind of shitty how this goes, isn't it? i had a dream about happiness and you were there. when i woke up you were gone. vanished like the smoke from a cigarette. escaped me like the air from my lungs when you look at me with those pretty, light green eyes. it's shitty how i remember that night with you when you told me you loved me. when you held my hand in a soft gentle loving way. how you held my hair back while i was throwing up in your bathroom. got up every hour to check up on me. it's shitty how perfectly your lips locked with me. a match made in heaven, i'd walk through hell to be with you and keep you around. it's shitty how i feel. i say no strings attached,

no more

i'll never understand how you said "we can't do this anymore" while still kissing my lips the next morning. -the next week is i guess when you really stuck to your words; and it ripped me apart.

part 31/never again

it wasn't the sex that made me attracted to you it wasn't the words you said that night that made me fall more in love with you. it was the kisses the next morning. the cuddling the hand holding. all for the last time knowing it could never be again.

part 29/why

i was never the one for you. i thought that. i really believed that. fell in love with the idea of us. but, i don't know why. what does everyone else have that i dont? why could it not be me what did i do wrong.

you dont

it's a hard concept to grasp you could care but you don't. not at all. and everything i'm holding onto, i must let go of. but the thing is i want to lay in your bed and just figure out life with you.

part 26/heres to

here's to the conversations i'll never have, but have ran through them a million times in my head. -suffering in silence.

part 24/realization

i think i am finally starting to feel shame in that night. we are not okay. and it is because of that night. maybe i am starting to realize, it really is best to put it behind us. a part of me still wants to do it again, but i am learning that that night was not acceptable. what was done, was done out of lust. what i longed for to be out of love, simply was not. what i thought was amazing, simply just could not be. it still leaves me wondering, did you do everything out of drunken but real love,

too much

i loved you too much. more than you deserved.

if theres a victory

for a moment just for a night i was living a dream. my dream. my. fucking. dream. everything i wanted. more than i could ever ask for. god why am i still writing about this. i should just go ghost. better yet, i should just drop dead. loving this memory will never bring it back. now we argue. we yell at each other. the texts get short.

true colors of you

does your heart feel lighter now that i'm not there? now that i'm walking away. i'm accepting that you are water slipping through my fingers and i just cannot hold onto you no matter how desperately i try to grasp onto you. i miss your true colors, but i'm still finding out more and more about you. sometimes you're a bright yellow, that shines as bright as the sun. some days, you're a dark black that's darker than the skies at 3 a.m and although i want to love each and every color you show to me, i just simply can not hold onto you any longer. i started to love you more than i was loving myself and it's tearing me apart. i still don't love myself like i love you,

Early birds

Early birds don't sleep, That I know. I had a bird, once, Let it soar above my head And the flapping of her wings, I let it rock my dreams, Let myselft feel. Night owls don't exist, Alas And I let my bird Out of my sight Once, Never came back. Early birds lie A tale we like And night owls die.
