Love

I love you unconditionally In adjectives that don't exist yet Adjectives that describes how much I love you But I'm also too afraid of loving you this much Because I'm afraid of losing you

Her

When I thought I was over her I still wasn't over her

Move on

I know I must but I can't I know you don't see me the way I see you But it hurts It hurts to think that I must move on That I must forget you I live in denial I say to myself That I'm not affected by this That I'm not sad That it doesn't hurt

I'm waiting for you

To the person that will one day love me... I wait for you tentatively Unsure as to if you’ll really come And like everyone I have expectations of you But unlike anyone mine are more accurately requests: I expect you to be patience It takes me longer to process things but I’ll get there if you give me time I expect you to understand when no one else does Know me for who I am in all my versatility I expect you to hold me with warmth and sincerity May the space of you outstretched arms become my safe haven I expect you to let me rest with your arm around me Let me hear the heart that beats for the both of us as what’s left of mine I would have already surrendered to you

Love

A deadly disease A hurtful emotion It boils your blood And makes you go crazy Kind of like mad cow disease A zombie of love No longer human Might feel like you’re in heaven But really you’re slowly losing yourself Uncontrollable actions Turning into a stranger Until you finally break And lose everything That is the disease A disease called love The destruction of mankind

Alaskan City

Barefoot on the silky sand of the beach of days and nights, I wade quietly through the lively breeze beneath our northern lights. I put my hand before my lips, and soften a sweet sweet song; I raise my head to our resonance scattering where we belong. Far away on another land he hikes the hills of his quiet contemplation; Remembering how it was, he and I, he reminisces beyond sweet infatuation. The wind coolly caresses his senses, awakening a resonating melody; He sees me wading on that beach of the summer’s Alaskan city.

Strangers

We exchange smiles once a week and that's enough to make me happy I picture us holding hands and walking through meadows I picture us kissing on New Years and dancing at balls I write of us cuddling and sharing memories but the saddest part of this phenomenon Is that it is not real I write of our love story because in reality we are nothing more than strangers

Stay

I told you the day you stopped cutting, I would too. You stopped for me, but I couldn't stop for you. There's no more slits on my wrists, that's because I moved onto my hips. I tried to quit, but I feel more pain with the razor not letting me ache. I couldn't keep the clean meter high, I tried to flush the blades and say, "Goodbye." I tried to end an era of tears and sorrow, but I just kept on hoping there would be no tomorrow. I love you more than anything else, so I lie about the bleeding and the issues with my health. Because while I know the only way you'll be fine, Is if I am too.

SCAR

The conscious man is dead Buried alive So brutally, he dug his own grave All for his love Everything about her engulfed him If he had known he would never have danced If he had known he wouldn't he sung in the rain If he had known he would have listened When she told him not to love.

FADE

I am a vague illusion I am a lie you tell yourself that you never truly believe Our love was like a dream to you The type you can't remember The time we spent together Was that also role playing to you And what's that's about love You say it doesn't exist? How long did it take to memorize that line I'm finally here Yet you insist I don't exist.

THE REPLACEMENT

I stared She was with him Places he promised to take me Everybody seemed to like the skinny little replica more than the real person She was greedy She took him My future and dreams My hopes and friends And claimed them Here she was vowing to be there through good and bad Isn't it funny and unfair that I was only necessary during the hard times Now all I could do was stare at the perfect couple.

IWIFE

Am I not just the perfect wife I quietly watched you play your game while I sat in a corner and drank up my sorrow I'm sorry my love I just got tired of your games I grew tired of you Rest in peace my beloved
