from that moment forward, things were going smoothly. it was like a fairytale. you treated me like a princess, and you were my prince. to me it was magical. but little did i know how wicked things would turn out. not every fairytale end beautifully.

the first time i saw you, i knew i was going to fall hard. even without saying a word to you. it's like getting you food after waiting a long while. the excitement and happiness of it. that's what i felt when my eyes met with yours.

"i love you." those were the three strongest words that left my mouth, and made its way to you. it took a while for me to say it, but i was finally brave enough to spit it out till you made those words, the most regrettable.

the wall - part i

You were wearing A red hot chili peppers' shirt, And you asked me what I wanted to do. You drove us to the wall That overlooked the city skyline, And we laughed And laughed And laughed - Until you kissed me. I am grateful for your initiative

untitled ii

The night we chased the stars, I realized - the chase was over, The race was finished, The marathon had been completed - All because I have you Here, In this Infinite Moment.

Stardust

Your love is like the stars It gives light in the night sky Gives hope in my broken piece And shines in my darkest times Your love is like a dust Slowly fading away Carried by the wind And have no plans to come back Your love is like a star But it easily faded and turn into dust.

Your Skin

Your skin was smooth against the covers of my bed, Those early morning sunrises on sundays, I looked forward to your presence for it kept me warm at night, And when you skin touched the blankets it blessed my spot all week, You came over late at night and left with the sun, But I remember watching you sleep, As if you were a stalemate in the war between our hearts, And when you would awaken our love would battle others, Your skin was soft againgst my callused fingers, And my skin was sickly against your gazing glare.

For The Record

For the record, I didn't stop crying over your loss, I ran out of tears, I'm as dry as a drought in the Sahara dessert, Because I will never get over the fact that you are gone, Like debris from an earthquake, Like a glass half empty, Like a candle burning oxygen. I didn't grieve and forget your absence, Because one doesn't forget a great love, They are trapped and strangled by it, Until the noose is finally cut, And you are free to go, Like a bird forced from it's nest, Like a balloon lost from the grip of the needy child, Like the smoke from the candle burning oxygen.

Would've Been

Don't whisper in my ear, The sweet things you did before, Nothing practical to hear, Just the thick lies, Pouring from your mouth like the blood in my heart, And the sorrow of your good byes, Don't tell you still care for me, 'Cause I'm a would've been, Should've been, Never was, And never ever will be, Twas the first lie you bled, Packing up and leaving my side, Which has to be sewn up with the thread of threads, For you made me lose my confident stride, I might as well be dead,

Smoke

I took in a breath of fresh air, The fire inside was bright, But you came and blew it out, And that killed my light, All I have is smoke, Swirling in my heart, Hot enough to be re-lit, But not hot enought to start, The day you blew my love away, I was cold and afraid, Because when you chose to love me, The fire inside me stayed, All I have is smoke, Bellowing in my chest, And as I remember our love, I realise I was blessed,

love

I was never very good with love It's complex yet simple It's Painful and happy Much like me love love is love is filled love is filled with oxymoron I assume I know how it is and What it feels like I guessed love was When the person intrigues you so much You hang on to every word they say You become so attached to the person It's embarrassing You want to be the person they "love" You hope you don't make a fool of yourself So you stay quiet as long as possible That's what love feels like to me. But I'm a Taurus
