Strings

Tied together Destiny despite every choice Burned together Fire eternal saw all potential Marked together Through every kiss and every bruise Fated In the ashes was our love

At last

I'm not leaving because I've stopped loving you I'm leaving because the longer I stay the less I love myself It used to sound crazy and illogical and then i learned what hell on earth felt like

For Him

She stood at the edge And stared at the sea It called her name It said "join me" "No one here can hurt you or break your heart They can't take your hopes and dreams And rip them apart" How tempting it was To jump off the edge To join the calming sea And come to an end Then she thought of the boy With striking blue eyes Covered by a fringe Black as the night

The Girl

She sat there with A smile on her face As she watched the girl Act with such grace She watched the girl laugh Music to her ears She watched her with admiration More than her peers They were friends Thats what everyone knew A group with equal attention A group of few But she saw her as more As different from the rest She saw her as greater The best of the best

She Wants To Speak With You

My inner child Picks up the phone Without my permission Begging to speak To the one who makes her laugh I explained about endings But she explained about love.

Love Me Harder

When I told him to love me harder I didn't mean it literally Some girls get flowers, some get hickies Some even get babies But I got bruises Because instead of showing me the world My man showed me balled fist And I hid from my family a broken wrist It was harder to hide the black eye I learned to keep my mouth shut If not, my teeth would have to make room for his knuckles While my knees unbuckled from the weight of his blow Crying never did me much good My mascara always ran before I ever could When I told him to love me harder I should've seen this coming.

This is Goodbye

You say you believe in me, in us But I know I'll only let you down I'll only hurt you, it happens every time I'll shatter your dreams and break your heart You're the best thing in my life, I'm the worst in yours And I'd rather hurt you with goodbye than with betrayal I can't be what you want, I'm sorry This will hurt but you'll get over me You'll find a true love, and live a happy life I know you don't agree with me now but you will one day.

Just another goodbye

"Why wouldn't I mind, you're leaving me. I've said good bye so many times I can't even count it. Now all you are is just another goodbye. Do you not see a problem with that? If not, why not? I understand that people change and when presented with an opportunity such as the one you have, of course, people will take it. But it makes no change in the fact that you're just a goodbye. A goodbye you told that would never come. A goodbye that was promised to never be spoken. Those unspoken words will now be said, and now I don't know what to believe when you tell me hello. Do I just say goodbye and then leave. Or do I say goodbye and linger, hoping for more?

From the heart

In a place full of lights, where kids could dance forever They were looking at each other.. secretly , hiding in the shadows miserably wanting to talk one another Melodies were all around, creating a sound, bouncing in their hearts Making them move.. unconciously , without desire Until that one little moment, when time was killed... By a light in the eyes From a smile in the mouth touching bodies from their souls

what is this beautiful feeling that everyone always talks about? she asks herself in the dark. no one answers of course. why would they? she sits on the bed and thinks about it more as worry is taking over her. will she ever know? will she ever feel it? her classmates, friends, as they call themselfes, always talk about it. how they found the one. how the girl in the class corner can't stop smiling because of him. how she found him. she hears her classmates talking about their feelings once again. about what they feel about each and every one of the people they know. but she, she's scared scared to get hurt

maciej obara’s one for, one afternoon on granville island

I want to live inside this song with you. I want to walk down its loping paths over grown with dusk-lit moss (with you). Paint your instant coffee and drink your tear-down walls. Find the ghosts in the corners the leaks on rainy days watching the cat watch the rain watch the way you move so quietly a toe broken in a slipper note broken on the lip a squeak so charged so telling of the space inside this song. We’ll sit in a claw-foot tub big enough for the two of us

While My Piano Gently Weeps

Happy and wistful, I wrote it for you. While reminiscing of our time together, I wrote it for you. Maybe I screwed up; Maybe you screwed up. Either way, I wrote it for you. Do you like the song? I wrote it for you. Do you feel my soul Amongst the blots and lines? Do you hear it? When I sit at the keyboard, I remember you. As the music flows from the tips of my fingers,
