Hold Me One Last Time

You and I don't treat each other the way we did a month ago- Could it be that someone's in your head? Looking into your eyes, I can tell you don't see paradise anymore. You usually call me baby and always talkin bout how I'm yo special lady. Lately Though - you haven't. You've been messing around. And the way you say you love me. It now sounds shaky. I know there's three of us. So hold me one last time- because I'm letting you go.

Mockery

A thinker of tender thoughts you were. Full of care- you contributed to this world. The assault and humiliation- changed you. The laughs and snares- consumed you. Thinker of tender thoughts, where did you go? Did the world swallow you, too?

let her go maybe it's apprehension the thought of not belonging or not knowing whether you'll be remembered after you close your eyes loud voices begging for some attention but all it comes out is "obnoxious" every bus intersection every paths that crosses are filled with lights and lone figures the couple holding hands the traffic lights glowing scarlett red and the emptiness that fills these souls he barely travels a mile his story in his smile and the way he bows his head

27· airports

She stands at the baggage area, watching a variety of suitcases, spin around in order, some are labelled, [with pain & hurt] Others with mental illnesses. Emotionless, all a blur of of space and time. She spends her time waiting, waiting for her 'emotional baggage' , waiting to claim what's hers. The people start blending, And the faces look so familiar. Hauntingly, they come back again, To drop off and set new baggage down. And one day,

26· dusty covers

Sometimes, you lie, very awake [2/3 insomniac & 1/3 too scared to fall asleep], under dusty covers, thinking about the past, and wondering [or crying] about the mistakes you made, and how undone life feels. [why did the missing piece leave in the first place]? Even though you are huddled under warm blankets and chilled feet, the numbness and despair [you've known them for so long], come and cuddle beside you, beside you underneath [tear stained] covers. [can't breathe, can't breathe, can't breathe...] And all you want, is for others to stop pointing out your mistakes, your sins, your problems, because it cuts deeper than wounds and festers like plagues.

21· what happened?

Here's to the kids, the ones that were never heard, who were expected to become perfection, and loose themselves, their lives like fragile jars. Crack. Here's to the kids, the ones who couldn't forget the sound of the screams, he says he didn't mean to hurt you, but you've heard that too often to cry anymore, and now all that is let is a loveless pulse, can't even think anymore. Empty. Here's to the kids, that lost it all, in the burning pits of fire,

2· ill ease and scattered patters

Words are powerful things, they let us down, as fast as they bring us up. Such bullets, hurt when they hit, but are worse off when aimed by someone you love. Take a deep breath now, hold back that flinch, don't let it whisper - pain. The barrel is drawing in close, what a life you've lived, and what a "pity" it'll end. You almost give up, you're okay with getting hurt, if it's for the others. Eyes are closed.

14· nomad

a body of vessels, of breathing oxygen, and blinking lights, is all you feel like. and no matter who says what, and who did what, you wouldn't care. it's hard enough on the road, trying to see what you can, and be what you aren't. travel through the hearts of many, never finding anywhere suitable for living. for the heart isn't dying, it just can't be felt anymore.
SadUma Gray

After sorrow.

Petals of the sea drifting down her cheeks. Leaving silver footprints. They fall to land on her breasts. Cold kisses after death. After sorrow.
SadUma Gray

an angel named sorrow

Like a golden statue. Dripping with sunlight. Resting in a pool of tears with shattered wings and broken eyes.
