I'll Admit That I'm In Love
Do your eyes follow me The way mine follow you? I know sometimes you watch me, I don't really mind, you know.
Since the day we started talking My smile's almost always on. And I see you smiling too So let's make a pact to never be alone.
You think before you answer, Which lets me know you hear. Cause I'm the middle child so nobody cares to see Just what it is I'm thinking But you listen to me.
I'm glad we had that fire drill, The one that gave me the courage to talk to you. Cause you've become the best part of everyday And I'll admit that I'm in love.
Parker, please go easy Cause I'm new at talking to other kids. I hope someday we're asked if we date, So you can say we did.
My Boys
Cat purrs on the floor Doggo licks his lips Onyx and Midnight; my boys
If I Awoke Inside Your Body
If I awoke inside your body, I'd treat it with such care. I'd be so gentle with it, You'd never know I had been there.
This is not a message for just one person, But a call to those in need. If you ever think that you are not pretty Just know you're the prettiest to me.
I'd take a liking to your body- Surely it's better than mine. But please, oh please remember To love yourself all the time.
Yes, my hair's a little too messy And my eyes a bit askew. If I awoke as you and we looked the same I'd still love your body for and with you.
Can I Tell You Something?
Can I tell you something weird? I don't think you're cute. I don't think you're ugly! But I do think you're pretty. You're really nice to look at, That's what I meant to say.
I'm not very good at phrasing stuff, So please just bear with me. How long until I let you read this? I know someday you will. Maybe I'll ask you out. (I'm kinda scared to fail.)
You make me feel like a kid again for a couple of reasons, First, you're 5 and a half inches taller, and two, that's when everyone still listened. Hey Parker, I really like you, Please be nice to me. Even if you don't feel the same, Please never stop talking to me.
Alright, so if I told you you were my favorite- Wait no, I already did- If I told you you were cute- Shit, another thing I already said- What about 'I love you-" Nevermind, I'm way too scared-
With You
Can I tell you something? You mean the world to me, You're never off my mind, I love you for everything you let me know, And everything I'm yet to ask. I love how you look when I speak, How you hear the words I say, How you think and then respond, How you treat me like an equal. I love how you joke with me, You talk with, not to me, You answer no matter how strange- I ask a lot of strange- I want to meet your family, Want you to meet mine, Want to see you eating dinner In the seat right next to mine. I want to hold, Talk, Listen to you. I want to read, Joke, I want to be with you. Because those three words, The ones I'm scared to say, They come to mind when I think of you, Which is all and every day.
I want to love you. I do. I love you. I want you to love me I hope you do. I want to do stuff- But I want to do it With you.
Questions
You make me lose my mind. It's not like you do much, Just talk and acknowledge me, But I still think you're one of a kind.
What kind of music do you like? Rain, sun or night? Do you prefer the scooter or the bike? Would you talk to me for the rest of my life?
Can you wiggle your ears, Or curl your tongue? Do you like dogs or cats? Or maybe even bears?
What's your favorite color? Is it red or yellow or blue? I'd really like to know, So please tell me a bit about you.
So yeah, I have some questions, But I'm sure you do, too. I'll answer them if you ask, So just tell me some stuff dude.
14 Love Poems-Why Can't I Just Share With You?
I have 13 poems about you- That's definitely way too much. Good thing you terrify me, Or I'd let you read them all during lunch.
Maybe I should share some- Is this number 14? This is how I know With you I have a thing.
If I thought I was in love With anybody the past 2 grades, This is my wake-up slap. Hey, can you never go away? Has anyone told you you're cool? No, I bet they don't Cause I'm the only one who sees you.
It's a shame I'm all alone But at least I have you to myself. Hey Park, one final question: Can you and I go out?
Better Parents
I asked for life advice today- It's rare I ask for help- And it felt like I was given something I wanted: Someone to listen to me.
My siblings hardly listen; They hear and tone me out. The last time my dad listened to me He said he'd never accept my gender.
My mother acted like it was fine, But if it was she'd never show me that stupid post- A 'Why Gender Matters' post.
It was like a punch to the stomach, Both of them being transphobic. I came out at SIXTEEN- That's a hard time to be alive.
Cause I also had depression, And now I have dysphoria. Depression, ADHD, ADD. Body Dysmorphia.
Family is tough, Parents even worse, But online I can pick my own Which is why Wattpad is my hometown.
You didn't do much yet, Just called me 'sweetie' But it made me feel loved, Cause mom, dad, step mom- They don't do that.
"Hey!" 'Kid, doofus' I've been 'moron' too.
I'm getting better parents.
