Regret was I never thought of even when you left me alone Pain was all I felt when I was alone Happiness was there but only hiding behind the pain

SMILE.... I tell myself to smile everyday knowing that the pain is deep within I tell myself to smile because I know that no one will care about my pain I tell myself to smile because its not worth crying

Breathe normally. In. Out. Repeat. My lungs hurt. I am getting ill. My eyes want to rest, want to close all the time. I am tired. But I must not sleep, I must stay awake, stay lovely, stay pretty. I must stay intact in order to not start burning When I touch this area of my mind Where I locked the memories of you Do you know this moment It's summer, it's hot You were swimming and you're wet You're searching for a place to lay down on the ground And than you sit down and immediately jump up again Because you burned your back Every time I remember what we had I get burned

Pain

Forgive my call I couldn't fathom your words. They pierced my being and Ached my throat How could my response arrive, When my hearing impaired By your words. I couldn't fathom your words As they clenched my heart And tore my mind I was a while away From getting to the end When my feet became motionless I couldn't fathom your words That which stealthily captured my faculties As I tried to keep my hands still

NEVER THERE

You talk You joke You turn around You walk away You don't look back But maybe you should And see What you never did before I hope one day You'll look back And see How your joke Affected me But for now You just keep making it all Never looking back

Confusion

I want to talk to you but how can I? I'm still broken Although I'm getting better How can I talk to you, When your mind is still a muddle And you don't know what you want? It would only end in more pain, Pain for you and for me, Brought about by our mutual confusion. Oh how I wish that I could talk to you, That I could hold you in my arms. Lay with you looking up at the stars. I hate what has happened to us. I hate that you won't talk to me. I hate that I cannot bring myself to utter the first words. I hate that I am afraid to...

Letting go

A pain in my chest Too strong to deal with, I try to cut it out. Saved by a loved one But sent away to be with the insane I tried to get better, Listening to the others like me, Helping when I could. I stopped thinking about her, At least to the extent I had before. Most thoughts were of memories, The good times we had shared, Not the bad I has happier though I missed her greatly. But then the world came back, The flashing lights,

For once

For once i'm happy, but then you find away, away to bring me down, down to the ground. where you and me are equal, where you can cause me pain. Where i can never be happy. So long as your around. So long as your smiling, I can never smile too

it hurts

It didnt hurt back then, but it sure hurts now. Now that i know i'm leaving, But not just for a day. This time i'm leaving for good.

I Love Him

He said he loved me He really didn't. He lied, he poked, he punched and hurt me. He hates me. I love him But he doesn't love me. It's funny how I can care so much about a person Who wouldn't care if I fell off the face of the earth They say this kind of love is wrong That it's bad. And maybe it is Hopefully things will change Hopefully he'll be right there for me Maybe even love But certainly not now

IT STUCK

People ask around "How are you? " "How was your day?" I used to be honest But life wasn't easy on me It taught me to love with all my heart But to suffer for it twice as hard But life wasn't the only one Others also taught me a lot But most times what stuck Was what hurt My parents and brother... They taught me a lot, But what stuck? It stuck that I talk too fast
